History (shortened version)
Baerlocher Kimya was established in 2012, aiming to provide further local support for the growing PVC market in Turkey and the region. The decision reflects the constistent policy of the Baerlocher group of companies of being local in key markets for plastics.
This was followed in 2013 with the launch of the constrution of a production plant in Akhisar. The plant has a capacity of more than 40,000 t and produces both innovative calcium based as well as traditional PVC stabilizers. The manufacturing operation is supported by a “state of the art” technical application laboratory.
The plant went on stream in early 2015, enabling Baerlocher Kimya to respond quickly to customer requirements in Turkey, Africa and Middle East.
