From December 6-10, the PlastEurasia 2016 took place at the Tüyap Convention and Congress Center in Istanbul, Turkey. The show is the leading event for the plastics industry in the respective region. More than 950 exhibitors from 41 countries attracted around 50,000 visitors from 84 countries, mainly Turkey, MEA, Russia, the CIS and Eastern European. With a new and trendy stand design, Baerlocher’s booth was selected among the three best stands at the exhibition. The innovative appearance was well received and reflects the leading market position of Baerlocher plastics additives. Manufacturers of window profiles and pipes, cables, sheets and the calendering industry visited the stand and were particularly interested in the latest developments on calcium-based stabilizers produced by Baerlocher. In Turkey, the window profile industry has mainly completed the change to calcium-based stabilizers. The cable industry has already fully completed the change. As far as the pipe industry is concerned, Baerlocher continues to have a leading role in the transition process towards new sustainable solutions. With its production plant and application laboratory in Akhisar, Turkey, Baerlocher ensures optimal product supply and technical service in Turkey, the CIS countries as well as the Middle East and Africa (MEA).
Baerlocher stands out as a solution provider at Arabplast 2017
TheArabplast 2017, the key event for the plastics industry in the Middle East and Africa, was another major success for Baerlocher. The bi-annual event reached new record figures – 972 exhibitors from 39 countries and 19,080 visitors from 123 countries, representing a total growth of 12 percent in comparison with the 2015 event.
This year Baerlocher exhibited jointly with its regional sales agent, REDA, welcoming manufacturers from the profile, pipe and cable industry. The MEA region, which is dominated by the pipe industry, still focuses on traditional stabilizers.
